The Dock Bridge is a pair of vertical lift bridges that spans the Passaic River in Newark, Essex County and Hudson County, New Jersey. It is the seventh crossing from the mouth of the river and is used solely by railroad traffic. It is located about 5.0 miles upstream from the Newark Bay. The first span was constructed in 1927 and is still the longest vertical lift bridge in the world.
