Signs You Need To Replace Your Plumbing System

Our pipes and drainage systems could have problems because of bad habits like throwing away solid materials into our drainage that may cause it to get clogged. It could also have problems simply because your pipe or drainage system is already overused, and it’s time to replace it. But before replacing you must first know the signs that you need to replace your plumbing system, and that is what we provided you below.

Molds
Molds grow when a certain place is frequently wet and damp. If molds grow in most parts of your pipe or drainage system it means the area is frequently wet, meaning there is a leak. You might want to immediately check on that since molds can be dangerous - it gives us allergies, irritations, and could give severe health problems.

Dripping sounds
Obviously, when there is a dripping sound, there is water coming out of somewhere which is a leak. So you would want to check on that to prevent mold build up. Always remember, molds grow in places that are frequently damp or wet.

Foul odor
A clean and nice bathroom smells nice, but when it smells bad it doesn’t always mean that your bathroom is unclean, it could also mean that you currently have a bad pipe. A bad drainage system comes with a broken, leaking pipe that creates molds which will eventually release the bad odor. Not only because of molds but it could mean that your pipes are partly clogged wherein those clogged particles are the ones that releases the bad odor.

Discoloration
Corrosion and rust eventually happen in cast iron pipes, which is not healthy and nice. If you see a brown or yellowish color in your tap water it clearly shows that your pipe is rusted. If you live in a rural area it is common to have water discoloration in your pipes but if not, it means you already have a bad pipe and you need to change it since it isn’t healthy.

Slow draining
If you experience a slow draining when you flush the toilet or when you run water down the sink or your floor drains, it means you have poor pipes and draining system. Your pipes could be clogged or your pipes are already damaged. When you see ineffective of your solutions, it is better to replace your draining system.
